All equipment is dismantled, all defects are photographed and inspected visually. All components are measured and recorded in our database and kept for future reference.
HCS removes the damanged rod and machines a new piston rod with weld-preps and spigot, machined to tight-tolerances and the rod is welded according to welding specifications. Next, the rod is polished and made prepared for final assembly, all completed to extremely-high standards.
HCS has facilities to design, manufacture and refurbish cylinders. We also reverse-engineer customersupplied damaged cylinder equipment back to OEM standards.
In the event that a cylinder barrel is damaged (scoured), HCS can re-tube cylinder barrels and wherever raw material or honed barrel is not available for specific sizes, HCS can machine and hone barrels to any customer-specific requirement. The possibilities are simply endless.
Need a cylinder to be tested? HCS can conduct Pressure and Crack Testing wherever equipment is required to be certified for a ten-year inspection. All cylinders are pressure tested.
Almost all necessary components for cylinders are manufactured in HCS' in-house facilities and designed to meet a customer's required specifications to tight tolerances.
HCS has additional access to facilities to supply hardchrome plated components for use in cylinders.
